How to clean out a contaminated Water Tank

Ever had the experience where some how fuel has contaminated the drinking water tank or you just want to clean out your drinking water tank.
You will require the following Biomagic products:

NuKlean

WaterPure

.

For tanks that have not been used for any length of time and only had water in them the product to use is.

Instructions for the use of this product are on the bottle.


Here are the instructions for a 100 litre tank to go about getting the tank back to usable condition when contaminated by fuel.

1. Empty it out by draining the tank. There should be a drain point under, or on the side of the tank. don't forget to run as much water out of the taps as you can get out too.

2. Now we have to get rid of the oily substance and break it down quickly so add 100ml of NuKlean mixed in some warm water to the tank ( funnel and jug ), then fill with water until really full. Go inside and turn on all taps and run until it is showing bubbles in the water to show the soapy water is coming through. re-top it up so it is very full.

3. Let it soak for at least 2-3 hours. Drain a bit of water out of the taps and then take it for a short drive or rock it and then drain it as soon as you can, including running the taps.

4. Add about one quarter of a tank of water and run it through the taps for at least 5 litres then drain again.

5. Now add 100ml of WaterPure and fill the tank to the maximum, run at least 2-3 litres out of each tap and then re-top up the tank to full

6. Leave at least 12 hours then drain completely, running some out of each tap.

7. Add 40 ml of WaterPure,,and Fill the tank again, run a little out of each tap and the water will be ready to drink in 2 hours.

8. The treated water now will last in the tank for as long as it takes to use it.
