The store has been trading for over 30 years and Harry & Ann the present owners have been running this successful business for the last 24 years. Being an independent Camping store has the advantage of not being tied to any particular brand and as a result can offer the public a larger spectrum of products that the chain stores cannot offer, as well as being able to provide that personalised service. The business purchases on a regular basis from about 60 suppliers

A big advantage that the business has is that it has been in the same area for such a long period and has built up a very good reputation. It is very well known and as such has developed a large customer base and services a large number of organisations that include D of E, Scouts, Guides, Pathfinders and schools.
